NTPC Recruitment 2025: Application process
To apply for NTPC EET-2024, you’ll need to apply online through the NTPC careers website (careers.ntpc.co.in or the careers section of www.ntpc.co.in). Make sure you have your GATE-2024 registration number handy.
During the application process, you’ll upload required documents (listed in point #9) and enter your GATE-2024 registration number. It’s crucial to read all the instructions carefully before filling out the application form. Double-check that the information you provide, especially your GATE-2024 registration number and name (as it appears on your GATE scorecard), is accurate. After submitting, the system will generate a unique application number and an application slip for you to download and keep a copy of. No changes to your submitted information will be possible after successful submission.
There’s an application fee of Rs. 300/- for General/EWS/OBC candidates. SC/ST/PwBD/XSM candidates and female candidates are exempt from this fee. You can pay either online or offline.
For offline payments, you’ll need to visit an SBI branch with a printout of the “pay-in-slip” from the application portal. This slip is specifically for paying the fee into NTPC’s account (account number: 30987919993 at the CAG branch, New Delhi). The bank will give you a Journal Number and Branch Code, which you’ll then enter in your online application. NTPC won’t be responsible if you pay into the wrong account.
Online payments can be made through net banking or using a debit/credit card. This option will be available on the application form.
Remember, the application fee is non-refundable, so make sure you’re eligible before paying.
You must upload all the necessary documents when you apply. Incomplete applications or missing documents may lead to rejection.

Class X Passing Certificate or Marksheet for Name/DOB proof
Engineering Final year or Consolidated Marksheet/Transcript clearly indicating aggregate
% of marks in all semesters 6 Marks conversion formula from the University/Institute for conversion of marks in CGPA/CGPI/DGPA/CGI/CPI etc. into percentage (%). Conversion formula is not required if the marks are already awarded in percentage.
Valid Caste/Category Certificate in the govt, prescribed format (for SC/ST/OBC- NCL/PWBD/EWS candidates). a. OBC-NCL certificate should be in central format valid for the FY 2024-25. b. EWS Candidates need to submit valid Income & Asset certificate for the FY 2024-25 based on the income of FY 2023-24 in the prescribed central format.
